We're seeking a detail oriented Quality Assurance Analyst who will be responsible for elevating the quality and stability of the Eventbase Mobile App. Quality Assurance Analysts are critical to our success at Eventbase, and work alongside our Development and Project Management teams. This is a full-time student co-op contract for a minimum of 8 months (although we’d love to have this person with us for 12 months), and our team works remotely. The co-op term will commence in January 2024. Please note that this role is only open to students enrolling into a co-op program.

What You'll Do
Review user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure full understanding of requirements for product and custom features of our platform
Identify test conditions from requirements, map test case requirements and define test plans
Work with QA Lead and Project Managers to plan test schedules in accordance with project scope and delivery dates
Develop, document and maintain test cases and other test artifacts
Execute planned testing activities, evaluate test cases and share results with the stakeholders.
Identify, replicate, investigate and report defects (discovered internally during testing or by other teams, or externally by clients/vendors) and verify defect fixes
Create and maintain articles on Confluence/Wiki on areas of expertise or as assigned by QA Lead
Participate in QA team meetings and internal project meetings as needed
Collaborate with QA team to identify tools and methods to improve QA processes
What You Bring
A post-secondary student working towards their Computer Science degree/diploma (or similar) enrolled in a co-op program
Someone with fantastic interpersonal and communication skills who can work well in a team
Excellent time management skills and an ability to juggle multiple projects
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Strong sense of personal accountability.
Experience in mobile app testing would be an asset.
Genuine enthusiasm and interest in Mobile technologies
$20 - $22 an hour
The pay range for this position is $20 - $22, hourly, commensurate with your job-related knowledge and education, skills, and experience.
