Description: Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Assurance Analyst 2 is responsible for -delivering well-tested applications to our clients and providing essential feedback to the software development team.
What You'll Do:
Quality Assurance
Tests applications for defects and proper customer driven functionality
Focus on the functionality, security, and stability of our applications.
Creates and reviews software test plans and validation test cases.
Creates and executes manual test cases.
Product Knowledge
Continually evaluates product knowledge to include more complex new features. Develops a deeper understanding of various product areas, often becoming the go-to resource for a subset of features.
Customer Workflows Expands knowledge of workflows across whole products, suggesting improvements to streamline the regression suite and enhance overall testing efficiency.
Regression Suites: Continually adds new test scenarios to fortify the regression suite and ensures it is signed off by other SMEs.
Collaboration
Able to train others in in-depth product areas.
Actively collaborates with the team to clarify test cases and resolve defects, improving team productivity and testing coverage.
Tools, Technology and Risk Based Testing
Developing Proficiencies in AI testing tools and techniques as required.
Independently use advanced testing tools, help configure testing environments and drives process improvement.
Risk-Based Testing: Anticipates potential risks and offers solutions to mitigate impact during test cycles, ensuring that tests meet both functionality and performance expectations.
Additional Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned to contribute to team success and organizational goals.
Requirements:
Degree in a technical area such as Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Familiarity of the software development lifecycle, preferably with understanding or exposure to agile/scrum methodologies
Familiarity or exposure to Azure DevOps, SQL and relational DBs
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Effective problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to simplify complex concepts in clear, and understandable terms for all audiences
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to serve as a functional subject matter expert for ImageTrend products and associated applications
Ability to maintain discretion when handling proprietary and confidential information
Enthusiasm for learning and expanding knowledge or skills
Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, collaboration and team orientation
Ability to travel, up to 10%
This role can be performed 100% virtually anywhere in the US while following our Remote Work Policy. Deadline to apply is at least 3 days after the posting date listed.
Position Salary Range: The annual base salary range for this full-time role is $70,000 - $90,000 USD + bonus + benefits + perks + community gains. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, education or training and other relevant qualifications.
