We are seeking a Budget & Proposal Manager (Clinical Research) to join our Global Project Manager team. The role of the Proposal and Financial Manager is a critical one at Celerion as you will be responsible for managing multiple new business opportunities. You will focus on creating budgets utilizing an Excel-based bid tool, constructing detailed proposals, and managing awarded opportunities. You will collaborate with the responsible Business Development Director to provide high-end deliverables to our sponsors to win contracts.

This position will give you the opportunity to learn more about clinical research and the Celerion business than you could even imagine.
This full-time benefited position can be located in our Phoenix, AZ or Lincoln, NE locations or 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
Translate the protocol into our proprietary Excel-based proposal tool to calculate service and pass through fees for a comprehensive Phase I project budget including, but not limited to, clinical conduct, laboratory, bioanalytical, data management, biometrics, TMF, and Monitoring fees
Respond to proposal requests in a timely manner as requested in the RFI/RFP/RFQ
Work with VPs across all of our lines of business to ensure proposals are scoped and costed correctly
Schedule and/or participate in project scoping calls, bid defense meetings, and budget review calls with the sponsor and internal teams
Host Kick-Off, Official Award, and Handoff Meetings
Generate and submit contracting documents after projects are awarded as well as follow process through to signature
Assist in the evaluation of the implementation of continuous process improvement
Qualifications:
BA/BS in business/finance/life sciences preferred or equivalent education and experience
3-5 years of experience in clinical research preferred, including the ability to read and comprehend a protocol
Experience with budgeting of early phase clinical studies is a plus
Ability to build strong client relationships
Ability to multitask and work against strict deadlines
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate competently with sponsors, as well as colleagues and superiors throughout Celerion.
