We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and lead critical projects that enhance and scale our supply chain, fulfillment and warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of several projects and system upgrades in our owned and operated Fulfillment network, a number of performance focused projects in Logistics and several purchasing and process improvements in our Supply Chain operation.
This role will report to the Chief of Staff and is based remotely in the U.S.- East Coast preferred.
What You'll Do:
Lead and manage key projects in Fulfillment, Logistics and Supply Chain including but not limited to WMS, OMS, TMS, and other Enterprise Systems (Netsuite) upgrades from initiation through to completion.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, risk assessments, and stakeholder communications, to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Act as the primary point of contact between IT, fulfillment, logistics, supply chain and other stakeholders.
Facilitate communication and documentation between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of project goals and progress.
Prepare and deliver regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
Key Systems Projects:
Partner with Operations and IT, to analyze existing warehouse processes and systems to define the detailed (new) WMS, OMS and TMS scopes.
Participate in the selection of the preferred system solutions, to ensure that they align with all needed business and technical objectives.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance fulfillment and logistics operations through technology and process improvements.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in fulfillment and logistics technology.
Lead post-implementation reviews to assess the success of projects and identify lessons learned.
Who You Are:
You have 4+ years of experience of highly successful project definition and delivery, in fulfillment, logistics and supply chain, ideally in the food or retail industry.
You have a successful track record of project delivery in ERP, Warehouse Management Systems and/or Transit management systems. Experience with Netsuite is a major plus.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a bonus.
You have excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
You have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
You communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
You are proficient in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
You have strong communication, project leadership and team management skills.
You are a dog person!
