About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to help build a world class product marketing team at CaptivateIQ. We’re currently a small but mighty team and are looking for a full stack product marketer who will impact the entire go-to-market funnel; from our persona strategy, to campaign messaging to competitive win rates.
As a member of the product marketing team, you’ll serve as the voice of the customer and market, identifying, analyzing and executing on opportunities in partnership with our sales, marketing and product teams. You’ll own product and feature launches and develop, test and refine our personas, positioning and messaging across the buyer journey while building out product marketing processes and metrics.
Lastly, you’ll serve as a conduit between CaptivateIQ and our prospect and customer base; evangelizing CaptivateIQ, building relationships and capturing and sharing CaptivateIQ’s impact.
Responsibilities:
Be an in-house expert on our product and the market; maintaining and sharing a deep understanding of market problems and opportunities and how our product solves them
Create, test, and iterate on differentiated messaging and positioning across the buyer journey
Be an evangelist and thought leader for CIQ; informing and publishing thought leadership, supporting prospect/customer calls, analyst inquiries, and presenting at events
Lead product and feature launches; building out repeatable processes to make a big splash, with lower effort
Partner with our marketing team to develop case studies, website content, and assets that support the buyer journey
Partner with sales on analyzing and boosting conversion rates across the sales funnel with compelling messaging, assets, and enablement
Track and measure key metrics to understand the impact of our GTM efforts and uncover new opportunities
Requirements:
3-5 years of SaaS product marketing experience and have a proven track record of working effectively with sales, marketing, and product teams
Proven ability to develop, test, and refine positioning and messaging
Experience launching products and features, with an emphasis on building awareness and generating leads
An excellent communicator with a knack for communicating complex, technical concepts in simple terms
Experience working directly with customers and serving as the voice of customers within an organization
An ownership mindset and the demonstrated ability to autonomously own projects from strategy through to execution

CaptivateIQ takes a market-based approach to pay, and the salary range for this job posting shows the minimum and maximum on-target earnings. The successful candidate’s starting base salary will be determined based on the candidate’s job-related skills, relevant experience, education, work location, market conditions, and other factors. This range may be modified in the future. Certain positions may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and other benefits.
