Product Manager - Content Ops Labeling

Team Description:
The Content Operations team is tasked with connecting Redditors to relevant content. The team is responsible for ML + human-in-the-loop content programming of major surfaces (such as the feed, notifications, and onboarding) and growing the content ecosystem on the platform. The team is globally distributed and highly cross-functional - driving content strategy in all key markets and product surfaces.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who will be responsible for driving end-to-end product development for tooling and workflows in support of the company’s human-in-the-loop content strategies. This role is crucial to scaling the impact of labeling projects that power ML and AI solutions fundamental to Reddit. They will become an expert in labeling processes and work at the intersection of content understanding and AI.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a product vision and strategy for labeling/annotation projects, with a focus on increasing the efficiency and scale of human judgment while maintaining high data labeling quality
Maintain and communicate a prioritized roadmap to support Content Ops Labeling and company strategic initiatives
Design and implement ML-assisted tooling for workflow and labeling solutions
Understand operator pain points and define product requirements to address them
Ensure end-to-end delivery of high-quality datasets that meet project objectives
Work closely with developers, product managers, and labeling team members to understand problems, capture new ideas and manage a prioritized backlog of requirements
Participate in quarterly planning sessions to define initiatives, resolve dependencies and perform data-driven prioritization
Develop and maintain documentation for labeling processes and best practices
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for labeling projects, such as accuracy, speed, and cost
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of product management experience:
You have experience developing internal tools from 0 to 1 including rapid prototyping and iterative development
You have worked with high volumes of labeling data, understand user management and queue-based review systems
You have strong analytical and problem solving skills, including a willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive into the minutia. Ability to use SQL is a strong asset
You have a passion and drive for testing and learning at a fast pace
You know how to define team goals and success metrics and ensure that we are tracking towards improvements that align with Reddit's wider business objectives
You are a compelling influencer with great communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to align a diverse group of stakeholders towards a common goal
You have had direct exposure & a degree of domain expertise in Machine Learning applied to content discovery
Preferred Experience:
Experience with ML labeling/annotation projects
Experience with taxonomy development and best practices
Comfort with rapid prototyping tools
