As a Procurement Manager at Lime, you will be a key player in our procurement organization, driving contract negotiations, optimizing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Your expertise will be critical in supporting the company's growth, driving cost savings, and managing risks within our regional supply chains.
We are a remote first company! The individual hired for this role must be located within the East Coast with a preference for New York City.
What you'll do:
Strategic Vendor Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and engage with suppliers that align with our long-term business objectives and sustainability goals.
Advanced Contract Negotiations: Manage complex negotiations, securing favorable terms and minimize risks while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Cost Optimization: Develop and execute strategies to optimize procurement spend, driving significant cost reductions.
Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and support strategic relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance excellence.
Procurement Strategy Development: Play a supporting role in developing and implementing procurement strategies that support the company’s growth and competitive advantage.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate procurement risks, ensuring continuity of supply and minimizing potential disruptions.
Purchase Order Oversight: Manage and refine the purchase order process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with budgetary goals.
Data-Driven Insights: Evaluate procurement data to provide actionable insights, supporting strategic conclusions and improvement initiatives.
Cross-Functional Partnerships: Collaborate with senior stakeholders across finance, legal, operations, and other departments to align procurement strategies with overall business goals.
Compliance and Governance: Maintain rigorous procurement documentation and compliance standards, ensuring all activities meet internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Technology and Process Improvement: Spearhead initiatives to enhance procurement processes through the adoption of new technologies and best practices.
About you:
Experience: More than 5 years of experience in (indirect) procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving cost savings and managing complex procurement activities, ability to manage substantial contracts, knowledge on conducting RFQ/RFP processes and working for an enterprise with over $40M indirect spend is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
Leadership Skills: Strong management and negotiation skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and high-stakes vendor relationships.
Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in data evaluation and the ability to translate insights into actionable procurement strategies.
Attention to Detail: Expertise in managing contracts, compliance, and procurement documentation with precision.
Problem-Solver: Ability to anticipate obstacles and develop innovative solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Strategic Thinker: Ability to see the big picture and develop strategies that align with long-term business objectives.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $92,000 - $169,000. Annual performance bonus, equity and benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, depending on the position offered. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the candidate’s location of residence, the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications. In addition to base salary, some roles may be eligible for a variable performance-bonus based on a combination of company performance, employee performance, and management discretion.
