As a Mid-Level Privacy Analyst, you will report directly to the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and play a key role in supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of CloudWalk’s Privacy Governance Program. Your mission will be to help ensure that CloudWalk meets its obligations under the LGPD (Brazil), GDPR (Europe), CCPA (California), and other applicable data protection laws and industry best practices.
What You'll Be Doing
Conduct data mapping and maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), supporting the identification and classification of personal data processing activities across the organization.
Perform Privacy and Data Protection Impact Assessments (PIA/DPIA) in alignment with regulatory and organizational requirements.
Conduct Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) evaluations to assess privacy risks associated with vendors and service providers.
Monitor and respond to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and other rights requests within regulatory timeframes, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
Assist in the investigation and resolution of privacy-related incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation tracking.
Support the planning and delivery of privacy training and awareness programs to employees and stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with legal, information security, engineering, product, and marketing teams to embed Privacy by Design and by Default principles into systems, products, and processes.
What You Need To Succeed
A can-do attitude with a strong focus on products, innovation, and customer impact.
Great technical skills, including hands-on experience with AI tools and automation.
Solid understanding of key data protection regulations, such as core privacy principles, data subject rights, and data lifecycle management.
Hands-on experience contributing to or managing privacy governance programs within a tech-driven or data-centric environment.
An analytical and detail-oriented mindset, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving privacy-related challenges.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex privacy topics for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Differentials
Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and related.
Previous experience in fintech, tech companies, or startups.
Relevant privacy certifications such as IAPP, ISACA, EXIN or similar.
We are not expecting candidates to have expertise across all of these areas. We will gladly help you bridge the gaps.
As a member of a fully remote and distributed team, you are expected to complete tasks autonomously, being highly collaborative and self-driven.
Join us at CloudWalk, where we’re not just engineering solutions; we’re building a smarter, AI-driven future for payments—together.
