Role overview
Cognizant is growing its capabilities and looking for a Principal Architect to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will provide architecture oversight, and suggest solutions for technical issues.
What you’ll do
- Provides Architecture oversight and help the engineering team to implement the architecture for a large program
- Ensuring the efficiency, security, and provide the technical support for the program's outcome
- Conduct and participate ARB (Architecture Review Board) for Architecture governance and approval
- Suggests solution for sophisticated technical design issues encountered by the Cognizant delivery teams.
- Participates and drives Architecture and solution discussion with Cognizant’s customer, Cognizant Development team and partners
- Guides the engineering team to build the solution in alignment with the overall agreed upon Architecture.
- Review the implemented solutions of different development teams.
- Design the high level technical architecture during pre-sales cycle (RFP response)
- Conduct mind sharing sessions with CTO/ Architects
What you bring to the role
- More 15 years of Software Industry exp
- Working experience in Architecture design for Insurance Industry for at least 5 years
- Deep technical knowledge in one or many computer languages with web and integration technologies
- Insurance COTS product implementation experience, Experience in Vitech implementation is good to have.
- Experience in pre sales support and delivery
