The People Operations capability is at the core of the employee lifecycle, managing processes across the People lifecycle and handling all queries through our service desk.
Specialising in high-volume tasks that demand efficiency and precision, People Ops delivers outstanding customer service and ensures systems and data accuracy for our employees.
The People Operations Specialist is a pivotal role reporting to the People Operations Partner, aimed at supporting and enhancing the employee experience. You will engage in both strategic and tactical work, collaborating across teams, leveraging data and systems, and creating sustainable solutions to support growth and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Manage the P&C inbox and support queue, addressing incoming requests and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve queries.
Prepare People-related documentation, such as employment agreements, letters, and compensation plans.
Assist with payroll, benefits, leave, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
Ensure People processes are efficient, user-friendly, and meet the needs of a global workforce.
Deliver HR transactions accurately and on time, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Support cultural initiatives and events to enhance the employee experience.
Promote and optimize the use of people systems and tools, driving automation and self-service solutions.
Act as a BambooHR Superuser, ensuring data accuracy, managing access, and running reports.
Apply employment legislation in collaboration with legal and compliance teams.
Work closely with the People team and other departments, such as Finance, Payroll, Operations, and IT, to provide seamless support.
About You
Bamboo HR super user experience is a requirement for this role.
Experience in a People Ops or similar role within a fast-growth business.
Ambitious, tenacious, and goal-oriented.
Ability to work autonomously and in remote environments (sync/async working)
Strong collaboration and team-playing abilities.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and developing solutions under tight timelines.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong multitasking and self-starting capabilities.
Clear communicator capable of combining narratives with data.
