Position Overview:
As a People Coordinator, you’ll be a critical team member helping to ensure our new hires and employees are supported in some of their most important career and life moments. You’ll be the first line of support to ensure our operational processes are executed seamlessly. You’ll take the initiative to problem solve, and implement ways to make our work more effective, efficient, and engaging for employees. You aren’t afraid to share feedback and contribute your perspective to how we work, and you’ll be given the opportunity to recommend and explore these new approaches. You’ll be a trusted point of contact for members of the People team, as well as our employees, regarding our practices, policies, and processes.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for our employees, and drive a seamless and positive employee experience
Execute operational tasks in support of the full employee life cycle (pre-boarding to post-termination)
Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance with employee data and files in all People-related systems
Partner with internal stakeholders on matters related to onboarding, employee changes, terminations, etc.
Support compliance and immigration related tasks
Support special project work and other duties for ad-hoc team initiatives
All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
2-5 years of prior HR or related operations experience
Ability to use sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
Excellent written, verbal and visual communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to manage concurrent and competing priorities in a complex, high pressure and fast paced environment
Experience with Google Suite, Notion, and Slack is highly desired
Experience with entering transactions into people technology systems is highly desired
Experience with local and federal employment laws is highly desired
