People Business Partner

The People Business Partner will be strategically and operationally involved across a broad spectrum of human resource disciplines including workforce planning, talent management and development, total rewards, performance management, employee relations, and diversity and inclusion to drive business outcomes aligned to business objectives and priorities. This role will partner and consult with their business leaders to deliver business objectives utilizing business acumen with a focus on talent needs, capabilities, development, and engagement. This individual is an experienced and results-driven partner who is an advocate for all employees and aligns and scales People initiatives and internal functions and resources with business objectives and priorities to deliver resourceful value-added service to employees and the operations that grow Restaurant365. This individual will also be charged with strengthening the senior leadership team in respective client groups by providing coaching and counsel to further develop their leadership capability and capacity.
This role will support the Finance, Data & Analytics, IT, Product Engineering, and Technology organizations.
How you'll add value:
Partner and work closely with senior leadership teams to develop and execute holistic workforce strategy for assigned client groups while championing business outcomes and the employee experience in alignment to Restaurant365 culture and values
Leverage business acumen, analytical skills, critical thinking, credibility, and influence as the trusted advisor and people partner to senior leaders, people managers, and employees through strong and visible human resource leadership presence with advice, guidance, and support on all people matters including talent management, performance management, employee relations, and compensation
Identify issues, diagnose root causes, provide insights, offer recommendations and develop proactive solutions to match people strategies to business strategies through a people talent lens, such as organizational capabilities, skill development, productivity, engagement, inclusion, attraction, retention, and recognition
Provide first line of advice and counsel to address employee and leader concerns related to a wide variety of employee relation matters including but not limited to performance management, discipline, company policies and practices, salary administration, Title VII, ADA & ADAA, ADEA, harassment/discrimination, retaliation, short & long term disability, FMLA as well advice on state and local laws
The ability to understand business objectives and recommend new approaches, best practices, policies, and procedures to affect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and the employee experience as well as the development of People services and support within the company
Drive and facilitate talent management initiatives and services in the areas of talent assessment, succession planning, leadership development, organizational development, performance management, employee relations, and compensation administration
Support the business in building manager and leadership capability within the organization through coaching, mentoring, and the talent management process and to accelerate leader effectiveness as they transition between roles and are promoted within the organization
Partner with People Team and business leaders to identify skills and competencies needed to strengthen our company and prepare it for the future through organizational change and evolution
Update and maintain reports related to organizational plans, talent assessments, performance, employee relations, and recruitment
Ability to navigate and flourish in a rapidly changing organization in growth mode and operate comfortably with ambiguity and complexity
Conduct exit interviews and perform periodic review and analysis of data to understand trends and make recommendations to People Team leaders and senior leaders
Escalate risks and concerns in a diligent manner to People Team leaders as required
Participate in department and organizational projects as needed
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
5+ years demonstrated human resource business partner experience in roles in a strategic human resource role of increasing scope and in matrixed high-growth organizations
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a business-related discipline from an accredited university or a combination of education and practical-related work experience
Working knowledge and depth of experience in multiple human resource disciplines including workforce planning, talent and performance management, compensation practices, organizational diagnostics, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, and federal and state employment laws
Ability to comprehend, interpret and apply appropriate sections of applicable laws and guidelines as well as company policies, procedures and practices
Proven ability to engage with employees at all levels of the organization, develop and maintain key relationships, earn trust and credibility, exhibit organizational savvy, and keep information confidential where appropriate
Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
Capable and confident communicator with proven professional writing and presentation skills and a very strong positive personal presence; possess highly effective communication skills to coach and teach; must be approachable, hardworking, enthusiastic, and has a strong bias and initiative for action
Demonstrated ability to resolve employee relation matters and facilitate mediated sessions to achieve conflict resolution, and the capacity to provide honest, direct, constructive feedback
Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize, work under pressure, be adaptable, collaborative, flexible, and dependable is a must—you will become a strategic partner but you also need to roll up your sleeves
Strong business insight and judgment, team orientated, and provides a collaborative and inclusive style
Ability to maturely balance sensitive and confidential information with experience to research, organize and analyze data to make recommendations and decisions
Ability to think strategically and can establish, articulate, and implement company’s vision for business operations, the culture and employee experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products, ADP/related HRIS systems, timecard management software
Prior human resource work experience in the SaaS industry or environment is strongly preferred
Ability to travel up to 10% may be required

This position has a salary range of $90,000 - $140,000. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
