About the position:
The Payroll Specialist – EMEA will be accountable to process and reconcile multiple internal EMEA region payrolls with the outsourced payroll vendors, ensuring accurate and timely monthly payroll, reconciliation and reporting. The role will work closely with EMEA payroll specialists to gather and reconcile payroll input on a semimonthly and/or monthly basis. This role will actively assist on projects and initiatives to allow improvement, efficiency, and harmonization of payroll processes.
The working hours of this role will be 10am to 6pm IST to align with EMEA region.
What you can expect to do:
Participate actively in the transactional processing of EMEA payrolls by extracting required data from various systems, reconciling and assisting senior specialist and payroll manager with preparation and input.
Manage day to day requests and payroll ticket system to assist employees and escalate to senior specialist as needed.
Assist and train on other regional payrolls as support and/or backup processor.
Monitor vendor payroll processing and compliance activities, review outputs for completeness and accuracy and update payroll team tracker to advise and assist payroll team regional leads as needed.
Assist with requests for funding of payroll, payroll taxes and third-party payments as applicable.
Deliver data/reports to internal teams (HR, Finance, third parties, statutory) on an accurate and timely basis.
Communicate regularly with EMEA Payroll Specialists, EMEA Payroll Manager and Senior Payroll Manager for EMEA on internal project status, payroll tracker updates, in country provider service and metrics and opportunities to harmonize payroll processes.
What we are looking for:
Degree in Business, Finance, or related disciplines or equivalent in work experience
Minimum 2 years of payroll experience in EMEA region.
Intermediate skill level in Excel & PowerPoint
Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of data.
Excellent command of English Language (both written and verbal)
Proficient time management skills with a strong sense of urgency.
Flexibility to manage multiple time zones and requirements for a global remote workforce.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative personality.
