Job Description Summary
This role is set to manage existing National Used Vehicle Sales (UVS) accounts and to identify and develop new National used vehicle accounts. A scheduled and routine cadence of contact with these accounts via phone as well as in person visits is required to ensure a continued relationship with existing customers while working to identify and build and grow our existing national account customer base.
SUMMARY
The position exists to retain and nurture our existing National sales accounts as well as to identify new accounts to sell Ryder used vehicles to a broader underdeveloped national customer base. The National UVS Manager is responsible for increased revenue and profitable growth by selling at current retail market values. This position is also responsible for sales quota attainment for a monthly/annual vehicle unit count as well as quota attainment of our additional ancillary product offerings. He/she will be working with and building strong collaboration with existing sales teams to provide our customers with the best customer experience and value as the leading used truck provider in the industry.
Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant’s skills, prior experience; certain degrees or certifications, etc.
The salary for this position ranges from $62,000 to $65,000 base salary. Employees may be also eligible for commissions, as applicable. Remote Position

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Independently identify, prospect, and develop new Used Vehicle Sales (UVS) National account opportunities via phone calls and or in person visits.
- Initiate sales calls via phone or in person visits to existing national used vehicle customers
- Develop a target account data base through independent research and with the assistance of our marketing to achieve sales quotas.
- Maintain consistent and ongoing relationships with national account customers. Provide industry updates and information and upsell our current added value products - Select Care Prepaid Maintenance, finance, and extended warranty options as well as our Safety Services and Insurance options.
- Research, identify and understand the competitive influences and risks within each account to develop strategies to proactively address them.
- Collaborate with our Used Vehicle Sales team as well and our FMS National Rental and Lease Account Managers to grow new and existing account opportunities as well as providing leads to each of these teams when and as identified.
- Establish and maintain good customer relations, with both internal and external customers.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will be comfortable and confident in selling to executive-level clients, demonstrating a keen understanding of their business needs and decision-making processes.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree Business, Marketing or equivalent experience preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Five (5) years or more experience demonstrated Sales Excellence (quote achievement) in prior sales responsibilities
SKILLS
Demonstrates problem solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.

Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
