How you’ll make an impact
As a Marketing Technology Manager, you will act as a builder for the Marketing Technology stack that powers our global media buying, conversion rate optimization, and SEO efforts. You will be part of a team responsible for the configuration, delivery and integration of SaaS tools in the tech stack with the goal of driving ROI and delivering hyper-personalized marketing at scale. You will report to the Head of Marketing Technology and partner with Performance Marketing, Regional Marketing, and other stakeholders to build custom solutions to drive improved targeting and visibility into our media performance. The ideal candidate will have rich engineering experience with a strong understanding of marketing technology, data flows, integration with SaaS applications, and the ability to document concepts and workflows, while also being gifted at enabling work inside of the SaaS applications themselves.
What you'll do
● Implement the Xero Marketing tech stack to support the deployment of multi-million $ budgets across all geographies and channels
● Join a team of Marketing Developers working on automation, reporting, and feed and creative instrumentation
● Adapt quickly to new to market tools that support campaign creation, creative optimization, measurement, ABM, and more in partnership with a variety of teams
● Work with engineering and Data & Analytics to deliver easily ingestible data from our third party ad platforms
● Work on standing up a headless CMS and content library, assist with the expansion of our Segment CDP including the use of Persona’s to deliver audiences, journeys, and personalization
● Develop the building blocks of our global data feed infrastructure that powers personalization and targeting across all channels
● Work inside our 3P data targeting infrastructure to power granular targeting across channels in partnership with Sales and Customer Engagement
● Partner with Data Analytics to instrument data-sharing pipelines (CAPI, GCLID upload, etc) and continuously improve the quality of the data we share with third-party platforms to improve bidding
● Build APIs that reach from our affiliate platform into our data pipelines, powering fraud detection, attribution and more
● Partner with Customer Engagement to build company-wide understanding of the technical capacities we can use to develop user journeys that drive conversions/upsell
● Partner with Sales on building lead-routing systems and appropriately orchestrate lead flows across self-serve and sales-assisted motion
What you'll bring with you
● Expertise in Marketing Technology platforms such as Braze, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Meta Ads, Google Ads (Tag Manager, Analytics), Smartify, SearchAds360, Segment, and/or Hightouch.
● Hands-on coding experience, having contributed to a major company-wide repository.
● Strong technical acumen, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.
● Knowledge of AI/LLMs and their application within Marketing.
