What You’ll Be Doing:
Be a voice for our users — Discover provider and payor needs through both qualitative and quantitative research, shaping insights that align and guide the organization’s design efforts.
Inspire and align cross-functional teams — Build strategic partnerships and communicate design visions that unite teams around a shared goal.
Turn insights into actionable solutions — Drive insights into elegant, user-centric solutions that meet, and sometimes redefine, business goals.
Connect the dots across product areas — Stay engaged in multiple provider and client workstreams, uncovering patterns and opportunities across different product areas.
Foster a strong design culture — Promote a culture of care, empathy, and open communication, ensuring clarity and respect within and across teams.
Manage and empower the design team — Lead, coach, and develop a team of product designers to deliver exceptional work.
Align product design with strategic goals — Ensure product design strategies align with broader company objectives, driving innovation and execution.
Lead key business initiatives — Identify and evaluate product opportunities that align with strategic business goals, playing a central role in critical initiatives.
Communicate vision and progress — Articulate design strategy, vision, and progress clearly across teams and stakeholders, fostering strong collaboration.
Make key design decisions — Navigate trade-offs and resolve design challenges, acting as the central decision-maker for the design group.
Champion best practices — Set and maintain best practices for design excellence, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement at Grow.
Who You Are:
An experienced product designer — With 8+ years of product design experience, you’ve delivered multiple successful products, showcasing expertise in discovery and insight development, solution generation, visual and experience design, holistic thinking and process in general.
A supportive manager — You have 2+ years of management experience and have worked with multiple reports supporting their careers, managing their performance, and finding them opportunities to be their best selves.
A maker with emotional insight — You lead teams to create products that solve problems and resonate emotionally with users, blending craftsmanship, creativity, and empathy for high-impact results.
A motivated driver — You take ownership, align teams with vision and storytelling, and inspire them to overcome obstacles, ensuring impactful outcomes through relentless drive.
A team player — You foster trust in cross-functional teams, celebrating wins and collaborating seamlessly with designers, researchers, PMs, and engineers to deliver successful products.
An adaptable problem solver — You thrive in uncertain environments, partnering with product and engineering to make quick decisions, test ideas, and iterate based on rapid feedback.
A leader, mentor, and coach — You empower others while ensuring high-quality outcomes, mentoring and fostering a culture of learning and growth for your team.
A scrappy and resourceful innovator — You adapt quickly, stay nimble, and motivate your team to push through challenges, doing whatever it takes to achieve goals.
The base salary range for this role is $175,000-$215,000.
