Manager, Data Science - Sales
We’re looking for experienced leaders to join our data science org who are excited about the challenges that come with rapid growth, and passionate about connecting people together through a positive and inclusive culture. Collaborate with internal and external collaborators to deliver insights and build data products. These positions function more like a tech lead role, where you'll oversee a small team while also remaining actively hands-on.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
We are seeking an experienced Data Science Manager to join our Sales Team. We are looking for an experienced leader to partner with our Sales teams to accelerate growth at Figma. Provide customer insights, build data access tools, conduct research to guide business strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of completing analytical projects, crafting compelling data stories and visualizations, and communicating across diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
What you’ll do at Figma:
Take a hands-on approach to tackle a subset of problems and provide detailed analysis.
Manage, support and strengthen a team with varied strengths of data scientists who own all aspects of data within the marketing and sales organizations
Partner with marketing leadership to set strategy, priorities, and mission for teams and projects
Develop and refine advanced measurement tools to better assess the impact and value of our top-of-funnel activities and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
Cultivate a data driven culture by elevating metrics reporting and understanding
Establish trust within and across teams by creating accountability and a positive work environment in partnership with other leaders in the organization
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
5+ years of experience collaborating with sales teams to develop models for more accurate ROI measurement and analysis.
2+ years of experience managing high output sales data science teams
Proven track record of influencing marketing functions and shipping high-quality data products that support organizational objectives
Firm knowledge around statistical methods, including lead scoring, experimentation, and attribution modeling
Proficient in bringing to bear data and metrics to guide business decisions
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
A desire to build an inclusive and diverse culture
Experience scaling teams in high growth environment
