As the Commercial Sales Leader at 1Password, you will be responsible for leading the Commercial sales team within the EMEA region. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive new customer acquisition and expand the existing account base. Your leadership will be crucial in scaling our Commercial space market share, building a high-performing team, and ensuring we exceed our sales targets. You will leverage your expertise in cybersecurity, particularly in Identity Access Management, to guide your team in positioning 1Password’s solutions.
This is a remote opportunity within the UK.
What we're looking for:
5+ years of experience working in the SaaS industry in a similar capacity, which includes 2+ years of experience leading a team.
Proven Sales Leadership, within SaaS with a focus on Commercial accounts or Top Performance in Commercial Sales as an IC ready to step up.
Strong background in developing and executing sales strategies that drive significant revenue growth.
Knowledge and Ability to Coach reps on taking a multi threaded approach to Commercial Accounts
Deep understanding of cybersecurity, preferably in Identity Access Management, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to a broad audience.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for coaching and mentoring sales professionals.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions and strategy.
Willingness to travel within the region for client meetings and industry events.
Self-motivated, strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What you can expect:
Lead and Develop the Sales Team: Recruit, train, and manage a team of Account Executives, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Drive Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets within the Commercial segment across EMEA.
Own the Sales Pipeline: Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent and accurate forecasting, and guide the team to build and maintain strong pipelines through prospecting and strategic outreach.
Focus on KPIs: Set and monitor KPIs for the team, including:
Achieving quarterly and annual sales quotas.
Ensuring a level of outbound activity, including prospecting, calls, and meetings.
Driving consistent pipeline growth and deal velocity.
Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market opportunities within the Commercial sector, driving expansion in assigned geographical regions or countries.
Customer Engagement: Lead efforts to upsell and expand within the existing customer base, focusing on delivering value through 1Password’s Extended Access Management solutions.
Industry Thought Leadership: Represent 1Password at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, and stay informed on the latest trends in cybersecurity and Identity and Access Management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Business Development, Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product, Onboarding, and Customer Success to align on strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention.

While we are a remote-first company, occasional travel for in-person engagement will be a part of this role. This may include but is not limited to bi-annual department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events will typically be held in varying locations across Canada and the USA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.
