Role Overview:
You will be the acting design lead responsible for overseeing the design and user experience (UX/UI) of our AI web and mobile apps. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create intuitive, user-centered designs that align with our strategic goals. This role requires a deep understanding of user interaction, visual design, and how to integrate generative AI seamlessly into user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end design process for both web and mobile apps, from concept to final implementation.
Develop a strong, consistent visual identity and user experience across all platforms shareable/extensible to other teams through our shared design system.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI teams to define and implement innovative solutions.
Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flow diagrams to effectively communicate design ideas.
Work with our user research team to conduct discovery, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs.
Partner with product and engineering to elaborate and develop the overall UX strategy
Ensure AI features are designed with transparency and usability in mind, enhancing user interaction with the AI system.
Lead, mentor and guide more junior designers, setting design standards and best practices for the team.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to continuously innovate.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Design Lead, UX/UI Designer, or similar role with a focus on web and mobile applications.
Strong portfolio showcasing your design work, for both web and mobile form factors.
Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and how AI can enhance the user experience.
Experience in leading design and mentoring junior designers.
Ability to work cross-functionally
Solid communication skills and ability to present complex ideas clearly.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience in AI/ML-driven projects or understanding of AI’s impact on UX.
Background in designing for industries like HR.
