As a fast growing mission-driven startup, we are looking to grow our team and hire a junior software engineer with a frontend focus to help us take our learning experiences to the next level!
Salary range: $100,000-$120,000
Impact Opportunities
In 1 month, you will have familiarized yourself with our codebase and contributed to aspects of a new or ongoing project in collaboration with Product, Design, and Engineering team members
In 3 months, you will have assisted in writing technical briefs and documentation with guidance
In 6 months, you will have lead the development of an in-house self service tool for users
Role & Responsibilities
Support Learning Engagement team with delivery of product features for end to end web applications
Work closely with the founding engineers, and co-founders to translate UI/UX designs into client-side, responsive web applications
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, researchers, and product to design and develop prototypes for advances features or designs
Support the team in establishing high standards for code quality, documentation, and UI/UX
Ideal Qualifications
1 year of experience working hands-on as a software engineer
Are excited about innovation and automations
Experience with React and Rails
Familiarity with Apollo and interfacing with GraphQL APIs
Able to communicate clearly and write clear documentation
Strong understanding of Software Development life cycle
Experience working with Cloud environments such as AWS
