Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions (IMS) is the application of technologies to facilitate the automated exchange of data. Riveron specializes in connection of equipment, digital integration between machine and enterprise, and the visualization of real-time performance data to drive operational and financial improvement. This role will assist in the scripting and execution of plant floor technology as well as the management of key vendor relationships. This role will be involved in the development and deployment of plant floor technology as well as the management of key vendor relationships.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s in electrical, mechanical, chemical, or related engineering field or relevant experience
Minimum 3 years of experience developing PLC controlled SCADA systems, preferably in the manufacturing industry
Minimum 3 years of experience developing PLC programs, HMI screens, and SCADA systems
Experience working with Inductive Automations Ignition Platform
Experience with modern web development stacks in addition to Ignition is a plus
Experience interfacing with ERP and MES systems
A working knowledge of IIoT and Industry 4.0 technologies and practices
Ability to manage time appropriately to meet project budgets and/or report up as necessary
Ability to manage multiple client engagements at any one time
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent teamwork skills
Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Ability to work remotely and manage time/tasks independently
You have a passion for developing and maintaining client relationships
You have experience working with large, imperfect data sets
You readily identify problems and instinctively look for solutions
You demonstrate analytical rigor and strong written and verbal communication skills
You thrive in an ever-changing, dynamic work environment
You enjoy participating in internal and external company initiatives such as community service, training, recruiting, and firm events
You have the ability and desire to travel as required based on client location
What You'll Do:
Plan, design, program, and implement Industry 4.0 and IIoT focused technology
Build applications that interface with PLC’s, HMI’s, Databases, and Cloud Ingestion endpoints
Write structured and well-documented code
Design intuitive, easy-to-navigate, aesthetically pleasing user interfaces
Interface with clients throughout project lifecycle
Breakdown the technical components of the project
Collaborate effectively with internal employees and contractors
Provide subject matter expertise
Complete other duties as assigned
$100,000 - $180,000 a year
The expected pay range for this position is $100,000 - $180,000 (exclusive of bonus, equity, or benefits for which this role may be eligible). This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making individual compensation decisions including but not limited to experience and training; skill sets; licensure and certifications; location and other business and organizational needs; and applicable laws.
