Instructional Designer
Uptempo is looking for a talented Instructional Designer to join us for a 10 month contract.
As the Instructional Designer, you will identify, design, implement, and evaluate product training, educational, change and knowledge management initiatives, and provide expert advice in learning and development strategies for our customers. What You'll Do:
Design and Develop: Create visually appealing graphics, animations, videos and other interactive learning solutions, eLearns and (vILT) curriculum to enhance product education and support customers in mastering the Uptempo software.
Collaborate with Others: Work closely with other members of the Education team and SMEs to develop curriculum utilizing diverse instructional design strategies that promote interactivity and engagement.
Conduct Research and Analysis: Partner with stakeholders across the business to conduct thorough research and needs analysis to identify training requirements.
Project Management: Lead projects from concept through to testing and final delivery, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
Evaluate and Improve: Continuously measure and test the effectiveness of eLearning curricula and individual modules, making improvements based on feedback and performance data.
Troubleshoot Issues: Address and resolve any issues related to course content and delivery to ensure a seamless learning experience.
Skills & Experience We're Excited About:
Bachelor’s degree in instruction design, eLearning design, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in training development and delivery.
An understanding of the underlying foundation of instructional design and adult learning.
Ability to create interactive and engaging multi-media learning experiences using graphic design, Storyline360, and Camtasia.
Knowledge of Adobe Suite and asset.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (ex.Docebo).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Project management experience a plus.
Experience working remotely.
