We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, scale, and maintain our cutting-edge build infrastructure, enabling users to expedite their app development process.
Our Build Infrastructure team manages the Bitrise CI/CD cloud build infrastructure, providing stable and reliable build environments. We oversee one of the world's largest Mac infrastructures, complemented by an extensive Linux Cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and high performance. We adhere to DevOps and Agile methodologies and are committed to automation.
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Bitrise, you will:
Manage both Mac-based and Linux-based build infrastructures
Scale the existing infrastructure to meet the ever-increasing demand
Streamline workflows through automation
Document tribal knowledge
Manage incidents and conduct post-mortems
Develop systematic procedures for troubleshooting and maintenance
Plan and execute your work in an iterative, agile manner
Collaborate with various teams within Bitrise
Refine deployment practices to enhance quality and deployment velocity
Promote knowledge sharing across the engineering department
Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively identify potential issues to prevent customer impact
Key Skills and Qualifications:
You have 2-4 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar software engineering role
You are proficient in managing source code with Git
You are skilled in Linux administration, including scripting (Bash, Python)
You have a solid understanding of L2-L7 networking and experience configuring firewalls, IPSec tunnels, routing, cloud networking, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.
You are experienced in defining and deploying infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible
You are proficient in setting up and leveraging Continuous Integration systems for process automation
You are familiar with Google Cloud or other cloud service platforms
You are competent in configuring and utilizing system monitoring tools
You have worked in an international, agile-focused environment.
What Would Really Knock Our Socks Off:
a proven track record of deploying and managing server fleets, ensuring efficient configuration, integration, and maintenance of these nodes
Experience with macOS administration
Background in infrastructure testing
Knowledge of complex VPN configurations
Experience with Go development
Familiarity with Bitrise CI/CD
Experience working in distributed remote teams
