Industry Account Executive for National Reconnaissance Office and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
About the Role:
Based in the Washington, D.C. metro area, the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) and National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Account Executive will be responsible for account management with NGA and NRO. This includes management of existing direct/prime contracts with NGA and NRO, as well as continuing sales growth according to the business plan. This role requires an on-site presence as needed in our Arlington office and with customers.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated and innovative as we expand into new market segments. This person will have excellent business acumen, an aptitude to learn new things, is comfortable carrying a quota, and exceeds at closing deals.
Impact You’ll Own:
Manage customer relationships and a portfolio of business opportunities with NGA and NRO
Identify, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities related to NGA and NRO
Target expansion opportunities for NGA/NRO with the U.S. Government (DoD) accounts and partner companies
Identify, qualify, negotiate, and close large-scale complex deals to drive sales revenue targets
Leverage your technical understanding of geospatial imagery products and industry knowledge to expand our customer base
Develop an extensive pipeline of new sales leads, provide product and sales demonstrations to prospective customers, and formulate appropriate business relationships with accounts
Maintain business relationships with other industry partners to provide solutions for NGA and NRO opportunities
Collaborate with Sales Engineers for prospect meetings and presentations, generating proposals and presenting pricing to executive level buyers
Maintain weekly pipeline reporting and accurately forecast quarterly and annual business
What You Bring:
6–8 years of experience in the US Department of Defense or Intelligence Community
Bachelor’s degree with a relevant major
Live in the Washington, D.C. metro area
U.S. citizenship is required
Have or have previously held a TS/SCI security clearance
2+ years of related experience in Software and/or Data as a Service sales
Experience prospecting, finding and winning business with new customers
Experience selling to Federal customers, with an understanding of the nuances of sales cycles and ability to navigate multiple agencies/divisions
Ability to forecast accurately and manage a pipeline of opportunities
Ability to source, sell, co-sell, and close large deals
Ability to do deep discovery and build relationships to engage in complex pricing negotiations
Excellent communication skills across a variety of people
Ability to prioritize competing requests, with experience working and problem-solving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Experience with CRM, outreach tools and forecasting solutions

Compensation:
The US base salary range for this full-time position at the commencement of employment is $105,150 - $152,500. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives (commission, bonus and equity). The final salary range is determined by job related experience, skills and location. The range displays our typical hiring range for new hire salaries in US locations only. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
