IAM Architect - ForgeRock
About the role: The IAM Architect - Access Management resource will manage a portfolio of projects and resources for GuidePoint’s customers in North America. Our Access Management practice delivers solutions concerning employee single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, customer IAM, B2B federation, and other modern authentication approaches.
Role and responsibilities: - Contributes to the sales process through the generation of thought leadership content, proposal development, and developing relationships - Creates new sales and delivery collaterals and improves existing content - Recruit, manage and develop consulting teams to deliver services and internal practice objectives - Manage and expand key client-executive relationships - Provide leadership and technical oversight and best practices across all customer engagements - Shape and approve key engagement decisions such as project scope, work breakdown, estimates, and delivery schedule
Experience required: - 5+ years of hands-on implementation experience with deployment of Ping Advanced Identity Cloud (Formerly ForgeRock Identity Cloud) and ForgeRock on-premises products. - 5+ years of experience integrating applications OAuth, OpenID, and SAML - 2+ years of experience integrating Multi-factor Authentication technologies - Experience using web APIs (SOAP, XML, REST, JSON, SCIM) - Knowledge of Java, Groovy, and JavaScript - Experience with Customer IAM (CIAM) - Excellent understanding of authentication/authorization concepts - Ability to quickly learn / adapt to new technologies in the IAM domain
Technical Skills & Proficiency: - Demonstrated knowledge and skill with common security controls such as firewalls and anti-malware solutions - Technical experience with networks, operating systems (i.e., Windows, Linux), applications, Directory Services (AD, LDAP), etc - Working knowledge of common cloud, network, and/or endpoint platforms - Experience with additional IAM products such as Okta, PingOne, or PingOne Davinci is desirable - Experience with integration with niche systems (AS400, Oracle ERP, SAP, etc.) is desirable - Ability to review, produce and make recommended changes to existing cyber security platforms - Demonstrated ability to work successfully in teams - Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education/Certifications: - Degree in Computer Science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent work experience is required - Product vendor certifications from Ping, ForgeRock, OKTA, etc. are desirable - Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) are desirable - Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) and/or Security+ certifications desirable - Other cybersecurity certifications are desirable
