IAM Architect - Access Mgmt.
GuidePoint Security is growing and hiring an IAM Architect, Access Management to join our virtual team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
Provide advanced architecture and engineering support to automate and administer identity access requirements into all enterprise information systems for both authentication and authorization. Including Workforce, Customer Identity solutions, Life Cycle Management,
Architecture of application integrations with APIs/SDKs/Widgets.
Drive planning and execution of identity management roadmaps and technology enhancements
Create and maintain documentation related to identity processes, procedures, and infrastructure
Assess current applications and architecture to ensure current implementations align with industry guidelines, best practices, and management-approved standards
Architect plans for implementing customer's directives most securely with the least disruption
Assist implementation teams with the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of identity technologies. Provide identity guidance and requirements to technology teams when no solution is currently available
Requirements
Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications in the listed disciplines, information systems, computer science, and system analysis with an emphasis on information technology or equivalent experience
4 years of information technology administration experience or equivalent combination of work and educational experiences
1 - 3 years Designing and implementing identity solutions
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of identity technologies and concepts
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Okta, Ping Identity, Active Directory, Single-Sign-On (SSO), OIDC, SAML, and Federated Identities
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Life Cycle Management automations with Okta OIN, Okta Workflows, PingOne integrations, PingOne DaVinci, and custom SCIM connections.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data mapping and transformation.
Proven knowledge of identity frameworks and the deployment of various identity models within an enterprise setting
Enhances security team accomplishments and competence by planning the delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; and mentoring team members
Plans security systems by evaluating identity technologies; developing requirements for identity access, and automated administration; adhering to industry standards
Prepares system security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value
Education / Certifications Requirements:
• B.S. degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent experience • Relevant vendor certifications a plus
