As a strategic HR Business Partner focusing on our GTM and Corporate teams, you will be responsible for aligning business strategies with people strategies within a designated functional group and is the link between Human Resources and the functional group. You will advise and support leaders on strategic issues and helps to implement high performing, integrated human resources practices along with setting priorities, driving value, and delivering business results. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to leadership and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. You will maintain an effective level of business literacy about the functional group’s financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and people.
What You'll Do:
Partner with leaders to help them achieve their business goals through talent management and programming
Serve as a trusted advisor to assigned team(s) around talent issues they are facing, including organizational design, role definition, career development, compensation, management & leadership mentoring, change management, and in ways to grow and scale
Guide teams through processes and programs, including performance management and compensation reviews, headcount planning & organization management, and talent & succession planning
Gain deep knowledge on the unique talent challenges of assigned functional group and work with leaders and teams to address them. This includes career pathing job definition, retention strategies, and other tasks related to retaining and engaging our talentIdentify trends and themes across the team and recommend modifications to existing talent programs and processes or, in some cases, the creation of new onesAnalyze and use data to influence business decisions, in addition to insights you gain from liaising with these teams
Act as a culturally attuned, highly credible voice to the leadership team of the group(s) you’re supporting
Provide relevant and timely people analytics to the business
End to end employee and manager issue review and resolution. Partnering with all areas and levels of Emburse to provide resolution along with longer term root cause analysis of why issue occurred, make recommendations and drive improvement initiatives
Provides counsel to employees and management in the areas of talent acquisition, leadership, employee relations, talent management, performance management, rewards, and recognition
Align support with HR and business strategy to recommend and implement actions that will support initiatives from an employee experience and business goal perspective
Participate in (and in some instances lead) key projects/initiatives (e.g. merit and bonus process, acquisitions, market benchmarking, etc.) and successfully drive to closure
What We're Looking For:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
Required: Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an HR Business Partner role and an understanding of in multiple HR disciplines
Previous experience as and HR Business Partner supporting Sales teams in a SaaS company strongly preferred
Preferred: PHR or SHRM-CP highly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to communicate effectively, clearly, and concisely both verbally and in writing
Excellent follow-up skills and operates with a sense of urgency
Builds and maintains effective relationships across all levels of the organization
Strong organizational skills and ability to work autonomously
Possess strong technological skills to perform data entry, manage schedules/calendars
Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Google Suite
Accountable, resourceful, detail-oriented
Ability to self-manage competing priorities successfully and work under minimal supervisionAbility to handle confidential information with discretionUnderstand and practice ethical behavior to meet the company’s expectation for conduct
