The Role
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on HR Generalist to support all HR functions within our organization. The HR Generalist will manage a wide range of human resources activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR operations, strong communication skills, and a passion for working in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Manage end-to-end recruitment process for various roles (from sourcing to offer negotiation).
Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
Ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new hires, including orientation and paperwork.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, providing support on various HR matters.
Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
Promote a positive work culture through employee engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms.
Performance Management:
Assist with performance review processes and support managers in setting clear goals for their teams.
Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and career development.
Support the creation and tracking of employee development plans to ensure growth and retention.
Benefits & Compensation Administration:
Oversee benefits enrollment and communicate benefit options to employees.
Administer compensation-related processes, including salary reviews and bonuses.
Assist employees with benefits inquiries and resolve any issues.
Compliance & HR Policies:
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
Maintain and update employee records, including personnel files, time off, and attendance tracking.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Training & Development:
Identify training needs and work with department heads to implement relevant programs.
Support employee development programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
HR Reporting & Analytics:
Prepare HR-related reports, including turnover reports, headcount data, and other key HR metrics.
Monitor and analyze employee feedback and engagement surveys to recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Specialist role, preferably in a fast-paced or technology-driven environment (health tech experience a plus).
Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Experience with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience in the health tech or healthcare industry.
Familiarity with HR software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, Gusto).
SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
