About the team
Our Finance and Strategy team (F&S) are strategic business partners to Stripe’s leaders, providing clear insights which simplify the complexity of the business, and drive the key operating forums to enable effective decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with leaders across Global Professional Services and finance, providing thought leadership, financial and execution support to building a scalable organization
Responsibilities
Be the Finance & Strategy business partner and finance advisor to the Head of Global Professional Services and the senior leadership team
Maintain and evolve the Professional Services operational P&L to accurately measure and forecast bookings, revenue and margins
Lead strategic and financial planning processes (e.g., Monthly Reviews, Forecasts, Annual Budget, and Long Range Plan) - including target setting and actively engaging in the evolution of Professional Services
Evolve, scale, and mature the foundational commercial and financial infrastructure across controlling, reporting, and business planning pillars in partnership with Revenue Operations, Finance, and Accounting
Build financial and resourcing models to drive target-setting and decision-making across a broad facet of commercial and operational surface areas
Act as subject matter expert on Professional Services strategies, cost structure, and business metrics
Partner with GTM Operations and recruiting teams to build and maintain end-to-end processes to manage headcount and non-headcount Operating Expense
Manage and own the OPEX controllership and ROI validation of functional investments across the business portfolio
Develop insights and analysis across segments and cohorts to understand trends and proactively identify areas of opportunity and risk
Lead an analyst in managing the deliverables above

Minimum requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields required
10+ years of experience in GTM sales, technical services (e.g. Proserv) finance, preferably at a high growth, enterprise software, or fintech focused business
Strong analytical capabilities and business acumen with the ability to drive insights, problem solve and distill complex business information in a consumable way
At least two years of people management experience and demonstrated success in leading high performing finance teams
Finance minded with strong technical skills, and operational focus to drive process, systems, and execution in a scalable and repeatable way
Proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners and executives; you are seen as a trusted and objective advisor
Comfortable working with all levels of the organization; diving into the details and Self-motivated; takes initiative to do further analysis when deeper insights can be achieved managing
Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications
An MS or MBA degree is desirable
