About the team
We are building an elite team to drive financial insight and strategy at Stripe. The GTM Finance Operations team brings understanding and predictability to Stripe’s financials, and we work together with our key business partners to accelerate long term growth for Stripe. Your work will be highly visible to Stripe leadership and instrumental to realizing Stripe's business aspirations.
What you’ll do
Responsibilities
Partner with Sales Operations and other GTM Leaders to drive the success of Stripe's commercial efforts
Develop a scalable end-to-end process for forecasting that drives accountability within GTM
Collaborate with the Sales Compensation team to determine the optimal compensation strategy in order to maximize revenue and ROI for GTM
Help to influence sales strategy through targeted assessments (incrementality tests, etc)
Work cross functionally with Data Science and Eng in order to develop and mature company reporting metrics
Support Stripe leadership in the annual planning process
Define metrics and leading indicators of business performance and partner with the Analytics team to develop tools and dashboards to make these metrics widely accessible across Stripe
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
At least 10+ years of operational experience including experience within investment banking, consulting, PE/VC, or business insights / analytics roles
6+ years of experience in Finance, Strategy, or FP&A with a focus on Go-to-Market and Sales
A strong understanding of key GTM motion and strategies, from pre-sales to customer success
Experience with targets, quota setting, and annual planning
Intermediate or advanced knowledge of SQL, Python, or R
A proven ability to be a self-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision
A proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners and department leads. You are seen as a trusted and objective advisor
Experience working on ambiguous and large scale strategy problems
An enthusiastic 'roll up your sleeves' mentality
Preferred qualifications
Experience in a strategic finance function at a high-growth tech company, preferably in the payments/fintech space
Experience with dashboard and data visualization tools
