Global Payroll Analyst

The Global Payroll Analyst is responsible for optimizing global payroll processes and analyzing global payroll data to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant global payroll operations. This role will join the Global Payroll Center of Excellence (CoE) team conducting payroll data analysis, ensuring regulatory compliance, identifying discrepancies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Global Payroll Analyst works closely with our external vendors, as well as with the Payroll Operations team, People and Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Global payroll data analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret payroll data to ensure accuracy in processing and reporting, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Compliance: Ensure payroll processes adhere to country tax and compliance regulations
Payroll Processing: Support the payroll team in processing payroll, validating payroll data, and identifying any discrepancies in employee records, benefits, and payments.
Process Improvement: Analyze current payroll procedures and recommend process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Auditing and Reconciliation: Conduct regular payroll audits to verify the accuracy of payroll records, deductions, and payments and ensure reconciliation between payroll and general ledger accounts.
Technology Utilization: Leverage payroll software and HR systems to improve workflow and reporting capabilities. Provide input on system upgrades and enhancements.
Support: Assist customers and team members with payroll-related queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Collaboration: Work closely with external vendors, Payroll Operations, and Finance teams to coordinate payroll activities and ensure the correct processing of taxes, benefits, and deductions.
Stay Updated: Keep current with payroll regulations and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and to implement necessary changes within payroll operations.
Core Requirements
Experience: 4+ years of experience in payroll analysis or related payroll/finance roles.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of payroll software, advanced Excel/Gsheet skills, experience with data transformation tooling
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and other payroll-related compliance requirements.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Detail-oriented: High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in payroll data, reports, and reconciliations.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Problem-Solving: Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on resolving payroll discrepancies and improving processes.
