Your Team
The Forensics Trainer will deliver computer-based training for the company’s leading-edge forensics software tools to students from law enforcement, government, and corporate backgrounds. These training engagements will focus on knowledge transfer, teaching forensics methodologies, and providing the highest quality learning experience to audiences of varying sizes. Part of this role also includes maintaining training materials in step with software product releases. Our ideal candidate has an in-depth forensics background, is a natural communicator of complex information, and has fantastic presentation skills.
What You Will Accomplish
· Deliver training engagements with the highest quality of end user satisfaction and knowledge transfer.
· Update training material, ensuring materials are current with product releases.
· Conduct research into emerging forensics trends, to ensure our training programs remain competitive within the marketplace.
· Create learning manuals, presentations and related training materials.
What We Are Looking For
We’re looking for someone who checks off most, but not all, of the boxes listed in “skills and experiences”. It’s more important to us to find candidates who can display indicators of success through skills they have developed and experiences they have been a part of, than to find folks who have ‘been there, done that”. We want to be part of your development journey, and we’ll learn as much from you as you learn from us.
There are a couple must haves, but we will keep that list short:
· Familiarity with investigative workflow methodologies in the field of public and private sector.
· Prior experience in digital forensics or incident response.
· Ability to translate complex, technical information into clear and concise training materials.
· Strong knowledge of adult learning concepts and experience creating course content.
· Ability to travel both locally and globally to our customers around the world. Travel up to 50% of the time.
The Most Important Thing
We’re looking for candidates that can provide examples of how they have demonstrated Magnet CODE in their previous experiences:
CARE – We care about each other and our mission to make a difference in the world.
OWN – We are accountable for our results – while never forgetting to act with integrity, empathy, and respect.
DEDICATE – We put our heart and soul into meeting the needs of our customers and helping them serve the people they protect.
EVOLVE – We are constantly innovating and exploring new ways to work together to make an impact with our work.
