Financial Systems Manager
We are seeking a Manager of Financial Systems to join our FinTech Product Group. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the technology needs of the Finance organization are being met to a best-in-class standard.
The mission of the Finance Systems group at HubSpot is to enable HubSpot’s Finance team to operate more effectively and efficiently by providing them with world-class, scalable, compliant technology and data solutions. Reporting to the Director of HubSpot’s Fintech Product group, the Manager of Finance Systems will interface directly with our CFO Organization.
This role requires a deep understanding of NetSuite, Coupa tools and ownership, configuration and integrations. Prior experience managing a team of Sr. BSAs and BSAs. Solid understanding of how HubSpot Financial SaaS Solutions (NetSuite, Coupa etc.) can be optimized to automate Finance and Procurement processes.
In this role you will:
Manage a team of 8-10 Business Systems Analysts
Collaborate with our CFO Organization to understand their needs and act as their technical advisor and problem solver
Assist in building and managing integrations between NetSuite, Coupa and other business systems (third-party applications) to streamline workflows and enhance data accuracy
Work closely with IT, Finance, Procurement and Operations teams to identify system requirements, implement solutions, and ensure seamless integration across departments
Identify opportunities to automate and optimize accounting and financial processes, leveraging NetSuite’s and Coupa capabilities
Assist in system implementation and integration projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data across integrated systems, performing regular audits and data reconciliation
Provide training and support to finance and accounting teams on system usage, best practices, and new features
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration and system issues, working with internal teams and external vendors as needed
Ensure that financial systems and integrations comply with relevant regulations, company policies, and security standards
Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers, ensuring service levels and performance standards are met
Create a communication and rollout strategy to promote awareness, adoption, excitement and usage
We are looking for someone who has:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing accounting systems, with at least 4 years focused on NetSuite. Experience building integrations is highly desired.
Strong understanding of Coupa, NetSuite ERP, SuiteFlow, integrations; proficiency in SQL, Workato and other data management tools is a plus.
Proven experience in leading and/or assisting complex integration projects, with strong project management skills.
Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, with experience in financial reporting and analysis.
2-4 years of prior management experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field;
Able to articulate a clear vision and roadmap and have led cross-team executions for impactful business outcomes
Able to problem-solve and navigate ambiguity and complexity to drive effective solutions

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles.
