Engineering Manager - Creative Products

Here are some things you’ll do on the job:
Lead a team of 4 talented senior & staff frontend engineers.
Build and maintain the CMS for our marketing site, build new founder tools, and work on in-product customer delight experiences.
Collaborate with Product and Design cross-functional partners to drive the roadmap for the team
Regularly meet with external stakeholders to coordinate on priorities.
Foster a culture of innovation and resilience, empowering your team to deliver exceptional results.
Develop talent on the team and hire when needed.
Be opinionated in building the team’s technical vision
Ensure the health of the team and the engineers
The ideal candidate for the role:
Have demonstrated the ability to lead a technical team.
Has a strategic mindset and is adept at navigating stakeholder asks and turning them into solutions
Is empathetic and effective in leadership; thrives on mentoring and building cohesive teams.
Have experience building customer-facing products
Have a strong individual engineering skill set. You will go through roughly the same interview process as our individual contributors, with additional interviews for manager skills
Have experience in react or next.js and a CMS (we use Dato)
The total rewards package at Mercury includes base salary, equity (stock options), and benefits.
Our salary and equity ranges are highly competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry. New hire offers are made based on a candidate’s experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers.
Our target new hire base salary ranges for this role are the following:
US employees (any location): $203,100 - $238,900
Canadian employees (any location): CAD 184,800 – 217,400
We use Covey as part of our hiring and / or promotional process for jobs in NYC and certain features may qualify it as an AEDT.
