Director - Global Proposals & USG Contracts
About the Role:
We are seeking a Director, Global Proposals & USG Contracts who is passionate about providing great customer service and wants to join a high functioning in-house legal team at a growing public company. The primary responsibilities of the role include managing the proposals team, owning and executing the US Federal contract management process, providing operational support, building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, and handling negotiations when necessary.

This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States.
Impact You’ll Own:
Subject matter expertise in USG contracting, specifically OTA, Space Act Agreements, FAR Part 12, FAR Part 35. Familiarity with FAR Part 15 and USG subcontracting.
Oversight of global team dedicated to proposal management
Responsibility for high-value RFPs
Trusted partnership with Global Commercial Legal leadership team
What You Bring:
8+ years of total relevant work experience in Federal contracting and proposals management
6+ years of leadership experience, of which 2+ years is supervisory experience.
5+ years experience in Federal contracts management, including with FAR PART 12 and PART 35 contracts.
Experience managing Federal contract processes from start to finish.
Ability to navigate and review FAR clauses.
Familiar and capable of managing: GSA schedule contracts, System for Award Management (SAM), eMod/eOffer, and CPARS.
Expertise in cost analysis and price reasonableness standards.
Experience preparing and managing RFP/RFI/RFQ responses and white papers.
Experience reviewing and negotiating teaming agreements.
Ability to pull together compliant Transmittal Letters.
Experience analyzing significant or unique contract requirements to ensure compliance with corporate policies, with appropriate legal coordination.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and to manage multiple demands, priorities, and projects simultaneously.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse individuals at all levels of an organization.
Ability to balance risk tolerance and business objectives.
Excellent organization skills and ability to be detail-oriented.
Competency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Salesforce.
Bachelor’s degree.

The US base salary range for this full-time position at the commencement of employment is listed below. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives (bonus and equity). The final salary range is determined by job related experience, skills and location. The range displays our typical hiring range for new hire salaries in US locations only.
