Job Summary:
The Director, Corporate Communications will be responsible for the planning, implementation, tracking and reporting of the Company’s communications initiatives. The responsibilities include the development of internal and external partner, client and company communications programs. The Director, Corporate Communications, will direct media and analyst communications to promote, establish and maintain the Company’s brand with a cohesive and consistent story in the marketplace. They will also direct the development and maintenance of marketing communications initiatives including marketing and sales enablement materials, web presence across all company web properties, and web-based communications channels.
Essential Functions
Evaluate and prioritize organizational communications requirements, and develop a communications strategy and plan to meet organizational goals
Establish and maintain communications Key Performance Indicators to manage, track and report on communications performance
Review and evaluate current media and analyst relations process and revise as necessary, formally defining and managing the processes and procedures to meet organizational objectives
Develop and direct a media activity contact management and monitoring, including standardized media communications, follow-up and reporting process
Develop multi-tiered media and analyst outreach programs segmented by priority and coverage models
Direct the development and execution of specialty market communications programs that align with market segment marketing and sales objectives
Assist HR in the development and implementation of internal employee communications programs
Direct, develop marketing communications initiatives including marketing and sales enablement materials, web presences across all company web properties and web-based communications channels
Direct, develop and maintain corporate and product messaging to ensure consistent brand messages throughout all Nextech internal and external partner, client and company communications
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 7 years of experience in developing and managing relationships with media, partners, analyst and clients.
Experience in working with senior level management to present and drive corporate strategies and resolve problems.
Proven working knowledge of all corporate communications disciplines.
Proven ability to develop and execute a strategic corporate communications plan coordinating with individuals and departments across the company
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Energetic, goal-oriented, team player with an excellent work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in vertical market SaaS organization, healthcare a plus
Proven experience in leveraging social channels as part of communications strategy
Experience with media management, analysis and distribution platforms
Minimum 5 years of prior corporate communications management experience
Experienced in building and managing messaging and positioning frameworks and strategy
Working Environment/Physical Demands
Working Environment:
Remote
Long-distance or air travel as needed.
Physical Demands:
Activities require a significant amount of work in front of a computer monitor.
