Director - Business Development

Celerion is hiring for a remote Director, Business Development in the United States.
The Director, Business Development will promote and sell Celerion Bioanalytical services, expand our client base while fostering strong client relationships and facilitate effective communication between internal operations and external clients of Celerion.
This role offers a base salary plus commission structure and room for growth with strong performance.
Essential Functions:
Cultivate new business opportunities for the Bioanalytical Services division.
Provide continual adherence to the pre-commitment and post-commitment process.
Manage accounts including profile development, maintenance, and strategy for key assigned accounts.
Utilization of database tool to monitor and record account activity.
Utilization of Account Management Key Indicators to achieve assigned targets/metrics.
Apply knowledge of market segments, competition, and regulations as well as current trends to manage assigned territory.
Develop and carry out territory plan.
Recognize opportunities to cross-sell and leverage internal relationships to facilitate and pursue opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in life science or equivalent experience in a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of pharmaceutical/CRO sales experience or postgraduate training in one of our areas of expertise required.
Bioanalytical business development experience preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to represent Celerion professionally at all times.
Proven ability to manage time and prioritize activities.
