About Commerce Hub
Commerce Hub enables businesses to run their entire revenue lifecycle within HubSpot, through powerful and easy-to-use quoting, billing and payment tools that help businesses bill customers and collect revenue on one platform, uncover CRM-powered revenue insights with a complete view of the customer, and use automation to save time and resources. The Commerce CPQ group is our newest team, and we’re focused on AI-generated proposals that reduce time to close of all Commerce Hub tools through metrics-driven experimentation.
We’re searching for an experienced, thoughtful design leader with direct experience leading product design in Saas sales-led and sales-assisted motions, and is comfortable translating complex business systems into strategies into elegant and effective user experiences.. If you can articulate your approach to design strategy and how experience vision informs both short and long term product strategies, then we’d love to chat with you. We’re looking for a strong design leader who is committed to coaching craft, building diverse and informed teams, and knows how to inspire and motivate high-caliber design talent. We value leaders who embody empathy and curiosity, and who have a track record of building influence in a large, dynamic organization.
We’re looking for those who have
Relevant SME experience potentially involves wrangling complex systems into elegant platform user experiences, specifically around price configuration or SKU management, quotes or proposals as they relate to sales processes or revenue lifecycle, bonus points for any billing and payments configuration experience.
Experience working in partnership with product and engineering leaders to establish objectives, high-level strategies, and key results for a group of designers
Understand how to set designers up to identify and drive impact that meets the needs of our customers and the business
Have a developed sense for how to balance speed, quality, and consistency of design, particularly as it pertains to growth and experimentation
Have a sixth sense for how to provide and encourage thoughtful feedback on designs as well as identify overlaps and efficiencies between team member’s projects
Understand how to bring a sense of team and mission to the groups you lead and to the broader UX team. This includes being responsible for thoughtful team organization, delivering feedback early and often, aligning strengths to problems and providing opportunities for career growth through additional responsibility or potential impact.
Can deliver clear, direct and actionable feedback and won’t shy away from confronting difficult situations or increasing communication when there’s friction or uncertainty
Collaborate with the other design leaders to develop a product design strategy and convey the strategy to designers and the org in a way that influences execution

Cash compensation range: 180000-288000 USD Annually
