As a Deal Operations Specialist you will be responsible for all operational tasks and data analyses for Brands, Buyers, Agencies and Consultancies who leverage OpenX ad technology and services for transacting their brand’s campaigns via deals.
This person will interact with all aspects of the pre and post-sale process of a premium programmatic transaction. These job functions include building premium inventory & data segments, creation of contextual and data driven audience packages along with the creation of PMP deals within the platform, managing deals and reporting, troubleshooting, yield & performance opportunities, optimizations, and post-campaign performance wrap ups.
We are seeking high achievers to support OpenX’s already thriving PMP deals business. This person will need to succeed in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. A Deal Operations Specialist must be able to execute their operational initiatives seamlessly to deliver, if not exceed, the performance objectives of OpenX Clients and Internal Team performance KPIs. The Deal Operations Specialist will be the day to day expert who has extensive knowledge of the OpenX Products & Platform and should be able to advise internal and external clients on ideal transactional set ups for the highest level of performance.
Responsibilities
Provide expertise around programmatic formats (Display, OLV, CTV), sitelist curation, deal/campaign scale
Responsible for setup, QA, deal/campaign management, troubleshooting, analysis, tags, optimizations and more
Develop, test and manage ongoing deals/campaigns and data triggers based on client needs
Responsible for the delivery and scale of the deal/campaigns
Help develop documentation for all processes that support deal operations, including campaign setup, deployment, QA and organization for deal management
Collaborate with product, sales engineers, analysts, and strategists
Become an expert on the OpenX platform as well as best practices for campaign management (setup, deal management, troubleshooting, optimisations)
Combine data analysis and client KPI’s to create optimisation strategies and provide the most effective solutions for campaigns
Partner with Account Management and Business Development to provide support to clients, including insights, deal KPI updates and scale tracking
Be proactive to offer solutions based on data and analytics from deal analysis
Manage campaigns on behalf of select clients, including pacing, optimization and reporting
Play a core role in growing the business
Work with the wider product and operations team to help define features and drive enhancements to OpenX platform
Requirements
3-5 years of working experience
At least 2+ years hands on DSP experience
Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong can-do attitude – ability to be a self-starter and proactive
Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and creative problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Strategic mindset with the ability to look for opportunities for improvements and to sustain rapid changes
Strong storytelling skills: ability to convey ideas in an appealing way to a multitude of stakeholders
Advanced MS Excel skills : ability to draw insights from large datasets, use of pivot tables, formulas, etc.
Ability to thrive in a small, intense, and high growth environment (“start-up”) – and to work with teams located throughout Europe
Specialized skillset/experience in marTech/AdTech with the ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies
Experience in one of more of the following Salesforce , Sigview, Tableau, Monday
Demonstrable understanding of data regulatory measures and their impact on campaigns
Experience prioritizing multiple, parallel projects to deadline in a cross-functional team environment successfully
$75,000 - $88,000 a year

For applicants in New York, New Jersey, California, and Colorado, the base salary range is $75,000- $88,000 per year + bonus + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. The salary range may differ in other states.
