About the Team:
At Aspire, Finance plays a strategic role in driving our business forward. Our Finance team consists of a wide range of crucial functions across 4 verticals: (i) Traditional Finance with Accounting, Tax, Reporting, (ii) Treasury, which is a core function for a Fintech, (iii) Data including Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and Data Engineering and (iv) Strategy & Planning, which covers strategic road map, long term planning, fundraising and FP&A. Our Finance team engages in frequent strategic data analysis, research, and modeling to provide the best financial insights for critical business decisions, helping Aspire navigate the competitive landscape and capitalize on emerging opportunities. The team also plays a key part as the first user of our Aspire software, pioneer in Finance transformation, reengineering our internal process to stay agile while maintaining the internal control in a hyper fast growing environment.
About the Role
As a Credit Portfolio Analyst in Aspire, your main scope is to assist the Risk team of Aspire in 2 main areas: Portfolio analysis and policy enactment.
Prepare & analyze Credit risk reports; give recommendations to support the decision making in risk management & in credit pipeline development.
Analyze and make improvements to Credit risk scorecards.
Analyze and make improvements to Credit Risk operational processes.
Ensure Credit risk policies and SOPs are well documented.
Support stakeholders to ensure Risk policies are well implemented.
Perform other ad-hoc based tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in finance, banking, statistics, math or related fields.
1-2 years of experience in credit review analysis, auditing or credit portfolio analysis.
Strong and fluent English communication skill.
Analytical and able to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving and collaborative environment.
Positive attitude and good self-motivation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of SQL/Tableau/Python; good writing skill is a plus.
CFA/FRM candidacy is a plus.
Passionate about the fintech industry and start-up culture fit.
