The Corporate Development & Strategy team focuses on M&A, Figma Ventures, strategic opportunities and long-term product strategy. This role is an excellent opportunity to join a small team that influences long-term company-wide investment initiatives. This position offers a great opportunity to work closely with key executives and internal cross-functional stakeholders to help direct Figma’s growth, primarily by driving impactful acquisitions.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
Build the corporate development deal pipeline, including outreach to and sourcing of new opportunities
Support all aspects of deal execution including financial modeling, due diligence, integration planning, and coordination of cross-functional teams
Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and help build relationships with key players in the industry (e.g. VCs, companies, founders, etc.)
Conduct market research, synthesize findings, and work with senior team members to develop strategies and identify acquisition opportunities that help shape company and product strategy
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
4+ years of relevant experience in corporate development, investment banking or related fields
Ability to manage complex processes from start to finish and a desire to work cross-functionally
Excellent verbal and written communication skills alongside strong financial modeling skills
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously to drive projects to completion
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Experience sourcing deals, building relationships with founders, and managing M&A processes
