Controlling Specialist
Are you a driven finance professional eager to make a significant impact?
We are seeking a highly motivated Controlling Specialist to become an integral part of our dynamic team.
This role provides a unique opportunity to support the statutory reportings and audit, streamline accounting and controllership processes, and act as the primary contact for finance-related inquiries while managing diverse stakeholders.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Support and ensure timely completion of statutory audits and reportings
Maintain efficient cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
Be the first point of contact and provide support in accounting and controlling related questions
Support the day to day US GAAP accounting, monthly and year-end closing processes performed by outsourced team
Liase with vendors and resolve queries when required
Prepare reports, documentation
Operate the accounting and controllership processes
Maintain accounting compliance and control environment according to guidelines
Working closely with external accountants and auditors
Participate in process developments and finance related projects
Support the culture of continuous improvementsResponsible for other tasks assigned
Our basic requirements are:
At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting, audit or controlling
Economist degree (finance, accounting or business administration preferred)
Experience working within an international / multicultural environment
Ability to work independently and with accuracy
Team player, good problem-solving skills
Analytical approach, attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written - it will be used on a daily basis
Higher level knowledge of MS Excel
Experience with working in ERP systems
What would Knock our Socks off:
Knowledge of US GAAP
Chartered accountant certificate
Experience in full cycle audit processes
