The Content Marketing Manager role plays a critical role in the GTM success of each Relay product. The role will lead and execute the content strategy for educating the audience, building brand authority, generating leads, optimizing search engines, supporting product adoption, and more. They will work closely with the Marketing Director and customer success team to ensure that content aligns with overall business goals and strategies.
Primary Responsibilities
Drive Content Strategy: Refine our vision for Content at Relay and its portfolio products and develop a comprehensive content production roadmap to increase customer engagement.
Content Creation: Produce high-quality articles, product releases, email marketing messages, case studies, survey reports, and web copy.
Collaborate on content ideation, outlining, writing, publishing, and distribution/promotion.
External Stakeholder Coordination: Write content briefings for our external team and collaborate with freelance content writers to meet additional content requirements.
Content Performance Optimization: Identify content gaps and opportunities for improvement through continuous testing. Use Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and other marketing analytics tools to measure and improve content performance.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing Director, Design team, and other product teams to develop an effective content marketing strategy.
Reporting & ROI: Decide on the KPIs that define the content marketing success and reporting and present them to the internal team weekly/monthly/quarterly.

Requirements & Preferred Qualifications
3-5 years of content marketing experience in the SaaS industry.
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
SaaS Content Writing Experience: Content writing for high-growth tech companies.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Content Distribution: Distribution is a crucial aspect of the role. You must have experience handling regular content distribution and understanding distribution channels.
Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Clearscope.
SEO Knowledge: Knowledge of SEO best practices (on-page and off-page), experience with SEO implementation at a high level, and ability to optimize content for search engine visibility.
Web Publishing: Experience publishing content and performing SEO updates on platforms like WordPress or WebFlow.
Partner Management: Building and managing a network of other partner sites to create guest posts and other content partnership opportunities.
