About the Opportunity
As a Compensation Analyst reporting to the Director of Compensation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our compensation programs. You’ll work closely with data to support survey submissions, pay band development, and partner requests, while also having a direct impact on configuring and executing our merit cycle.
In this role, you’ll analyze large data sets from multiple sources to identify market trends, assess employee compensation positioning, and uncover opportunities and challenges. Your insights will influence audiences ranging from hiring managers to the executive team.
You’ll also contribute to integrating our HRIS, developing our long-term equity strategy, and refining ongoing compensation practices, helping us scale and modernize our People function at one of the most dynamic and innovative companies around.

Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and organize large data sets from various HR systems.
Analyze and interpret data to support compensation reviews, market analysis, and internal equity evaluations.
Assist in the preparation and administration of compensation programs, including merit increases, bonus plans, and salary structures.
Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to assist in decision-making.
Conduct benchmarking and market research to ensure competitive positioning.
Maintain compensation-related tools and systems.
Serve as the first point of contact for internal compensation-related inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Support the development and documentation of standard operating procedures.
Investigate and resolve compensation-related issues, such as pay discrepancies or compliance concerns.
Monitor and interpret trends in compensation to provide recommendations for program enhancements.
What you will bring
0–2 years of experience in a compensation, HR operations, or data analysis role. Extra credit if you have:
Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors)
Data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Intermediate to expert proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, advanced formulas). Extra Credit if you have:
Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort in a remote environment: Self motivated to work asynchronously and independently.
Ability to work with a sense of urgency, collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
A growth mindset, with a bias to curiosity.
Salary Range ($92,000 - $115,000)
The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
