Channel Programs Manager
Position Summary:
The Channel Programs Manager supports the Channel Team by managing Channel Programs (e.g., Momentum/Bootcamp/Mission Briefing/Launch Briefing/virtual webinar/live talks). They lead and oversee event campaigns, project manage program tasks and handle miscellaneous event logistics as needed to host successful programs.
Essential Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of Pax8 hosted programs, including asset project management, scheduling, coordinating internal and external speakers and venues, managing vendor sponsor logistics, preparing presentation materials and agendas, conducting practice sessions, providing event customer service support for inquiries, and overseeing the complete execution of both virtual and in-person event logistics.
Work cross-departmentally with all stakeholders involved to capture and execute event objectives, that contribute to the organization’s overarching initiatives.
Collaborate withPax8 Marketing partners (includes but not limited to Marketing Operations, Content/Design, Program Management, Segment Marketing, Field Marketing) to build, complete, organize, and direct all associated campaign details for events.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of Pax8’s business and services while actively engaging with internal and external participants at events.
Revise and uphold pre- and post-program documents/resources, encompassing tasks such as updating the event calendar, tracking metrics and budget allocation, and managing documentation for internal and external attendees.
Cultivate a data-centric approach when refining event strategies.
Manage creation of program content and marketing assets (e.g., email/landing page templates, presentation deck, post-event resources, etc.), aligning event strategy with business partners' goals.
Administer virtual and in-person event platforms and utilize a problem-solving approach to comprehend and manage the preferred event management technology stack for program development and execution.
Analyze existing processes to pinpoint areas for improvement and develop processes aimed at optimizing program efficiency and enhancing program outcomes.
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
At least two (2) years of experience at Pax8 (for internal candidates only).
At least five (5) years of program management or other relevant event management experience.
Microsoft Office experience required, with heavy emphasis on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Virtual event, webinar, and meeting planning experience is required. Technical experience with Teams Live, Zoom, Cvent, or other webinar/event technology platforms preferred.
Proactive and ambitious attitude necessary.
Immaculate attention to detail with the ability to be organized and process focused. Proficiency in project management applications is required to effectively manage tasks and streamline workflows.
Ability to build partnerships, prioritize projects and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
Problem solving and critical thinking skills required. Candidate should possess ability to assess when to escalate issues to leadership and when to resolve independently.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Ability to rebound from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations.
Ability to comfortably maneuver through and adapt to complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics.
