Why this role matters
This leadership role sits within the Vonage Carrier Management Team and is responsible for the strategic direction and co-ordination driving new API connectivity globally.
A newly created role with multiple stakeholders and expectations of quick market acceptance and growth, the successful candidate must have mastery of a range of leadership skills to drive the growth of advanced network APIs.
We seek to recruit an experienced Carrier Relations Manager (Central Europe) to join the team. This person will ensure we develop a world class team responsible for creating the best network connectivity and innovation to drive our customers’ success.
What you'll do
Create, own, and lead the plan for coverage in Central Europe ensuring Vonage has the best connectivity products and services to meet our customers' needs.
Contracting with CSPs/MNOs for SMS, RCS, Voice and Numbers connectivity in the region
Identify and drive systems and processes that enable Vonage to scale new connectivity with Carriers and Partners
Build and maintain strategic relationships with CSP leaders, industry regulatory bodies and key vendor partners
Support service Go-to-Market activities at Vonage and externally
Work with Vonage Sales. Product, Legal, Operations, Engineering teams to enhance services and operating models and product
Presenting Vonage at industry events (MEF, RCS, GSMA) and CSP/MNO engagements
What you'll bring
Knowledge and experience of in Carrier Relations in the region for SMS, RCS, Voice and Number services
Highly evolved strategic mindset capable of driving new initiatives from ideation to execution
Experience leading complex commercial projects involving extended virtual teams
Knowledge of the cloud communications industry (UCaaS/ CCaaS and /or APIs)
Deep knowledge of how the API marketplace is regulated, operated and managed
Experience working directly with the world’s largest digital brands
Extensive experience working directly with Carriers (CSPs) in the region
Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English
