Job Purpose
Conduct clinical studies according to study protocols, review safety data and monitor the safety of study participants enrolled into clinical trial protocols.
Essential Functions
Adjudication of cardiodynamic ECGs in a timely and blinded manner
Cardiologist review of Safety ECGs.
Review of Holters reports or other cardiovascular safety data for clinical trials.
Be available for consultation on any cardiovascular, clinical or core laboratory findings that require a
cardiology opinion and recommendations.
Notify the PI or their designee for any potentially serious adverse clinical events observed during review of
cardiovascular data
Attend monthly core laboratory staff meetings
Remain compliant on all PGs, SOPs and training requirements
Maintain continuing education and licensing requirements as dictated by the state in which they are licensed
to practice medicine.
Participate in yearly quality assessment exercises to ensure clinical competence and reading skills
Provide input into core laboratory processes and procedures to enhance accuracy, precision and efficiency.
*Conduct other reasonable duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Education/Licenses
MD required in Cardiovascular field
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Highly organized
Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills
3-5 years medical experience and / or clinical research experience
Clinical research experience preferred
**Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
