What’s the role?
The BDR role at HubSpot offers the opportunity to learn best practices around consultative SaaS selling, using proven sales frameworks and creative & targeted prospecting. In this role, you will be equipped with the tools, training and have the opportunity to work with high performing peers as well as partnering with Mid-Market or Corporate Account Executive to drive sales pipelines. You'll be a valued member of the team, contributing towards the growth of HubSpot's market share in the ANZ market by providing a top tier CRM solution to businesses. We’re looking for hard-working, competitive and self-motivated individuals who have already excelled in similar sales roles and who want to build upon their experience in the tech space. We have a structured pathway for our BDRs to progress into the Account Executive team.
What are your responsibilities as a Business Development Representative?
Conduct high-volume prospecting (telemarketing) to generate qualified leads (between 40 and 60 calls per day)
Work closely and collaboratively with an assigned Account Executive/Sales Representative to develop and implement appropriate prospect strategies and plans
Work internally with the sales management and marketing teams to ensure proper quality and quantity of discovery calls
Schedule discovery calls for an assigned Account Executive/Sales Representative
Conduct needs assessments calls with specific prospects as assigned
Who are you?
Previous experience in a high volume and outbound sales role
Track record of high achievement and the desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
The ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection on a daily basis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with peers who challenge you to be better
The technical aptitude to master our sales tools and naturally curious
You will also have a proven ability to drive results, be resilient during challenging sales situations, have a customer-first mentality and a strong growth mindset.
