Job Summary:
This exciting opportunity is full-time and permanent with Converge Technology Solutions. As the Partner Sales Consulting Architect for AWS Marketplace Solutions you will drive the execution and solution creation of our AWS Marketplace Managed Services and Professional Services listing. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, customer-facing skills, and the ability to lead cross-practice initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in building AWS Marketplace solutions that combine a traditional datacenter OEM or ISV's solutions with a partners managed or professional services.
Your primary responsibility is building cross practice managed SaaS and professional services listing and driving technical engagements and solutions architecture to capture new customers via the AWS Marketplace. In collaboration with the AWS Partner Sales leader and AWS Consulting Architect you will work with the Office of the CTO, Alliances and Converge Practice leaders to provide strategic direction, technical expertise, and thought leadership to drive the growth and success of the company's AWS Marketplace listings.
The other key focus of the role would be to ensure that our service delivery capabilities and process are built and managed to the highest levels of operational excellence for our clients. Ensuring we have the right technical resources, capabilities, and service delivery partners both in tooling and resources as well as on-time, on budget profitable engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership:
- Serve as the technical lead for AWS Marketplace engagements, providing architectural guidance and best practices.
- Drive the technical aspects of customer and partner onboarding, ensuring successful deployment and integration of solutions in AWS Marketplace.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, whitepapers, and reference architectures.
Customer and Partner Engagement:
- Collaborate with customers to understand their business requirements and provide tailored AWS Marketplace solutions.
- Work closely with partners to integrate their products into AWS Marketplace, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
- Conduct technical workshops, webinars, and training sessions for customers and internal sellers.
Solution Development:
- Design and implement proof-of-concept projects, prototypes, and demos to showcase AWS Marketplace MSP Solutions.
- Develop and refine solution blueprints that address common customer challenges and use cases.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence the AWS Marketplace roadmap based on customer feedback and emerging trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with sales, marketing, and business development teams to support go-to-market strategies and customer acquisition efforts.
- Partner with AWS service teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of Marketplace solutions.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and forums to represent AWS Marketplace and share technical insights.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, marketplace trends, and industry best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and scalability within the AWS Marketplace ecosystem.
- Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging experimentation and new ideas within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud computing and/or consulting services role that involved multi-vendor solutions and architecture
- Proven experience in a technical leadership role, preferably within a cloud marketplace or similar environment.
- Experienced in designing multiple technology domains, such as cloud computing, data analytics, networking cybersecurity, or enterprise software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with automation and DevOps tools, such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Jenkins, and Ansible.
- Strong leadership and partnership skills, with the ability to collaborate with other technical leaders in the organization.
- Extensive experience in technical leadership roles, preferably in a services or consulting environment.
- Extensive experience creating SOW's for multi-vendor, multi-discpline solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with Cisco, partner ecosystems, public cloud providers, and internal teams.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with marketplace platforms and SaaS models.
- Familiarity with AWS foundational services
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or similar certification is highly desirable.
