Associate Creative Director, In-Product Marketing
As Associate Creative Director, In-Product Marketing, you’ll play an integral role in leading the next iteration of the Pinterest brand – launching global, culturally-relevant and educational campaigns within the Pinterest product. You’ll manage a team responsible for in-product marketing initiatives that will inspire millions of Pinterest users. You'll partner with creative, marketing and product leaders across the company to help us tell our story within our platform in the most impactful and inspiring way.
This is an exciting role to scale the way we brand and market some of our most impactful and buzz-worthy product launches and features. You’ll also focus on key brand campaigns and seasonal moments such as Pinterest Predicts, Coachella and beyond. Equal parts leader and doer, you’ll work quickly and efficiently to create creative solutions and systems at a global scale.What you’ll do:
Lead a talented team to create beautifully crafted and inspired solutions that will thrive within the Pinterest product experience.
Be a close strategic creative partner to cross-functional partners (Marketing, Creative, Insights, Analytics, Product Design and Engineering) to deliver outstanding creative work for global audiences.
Compellingly represent the thinking behind your team’s work and engage in related strategic discussion + decision-making with key stakeholders, creative directors and team members.
Maintain and manage consistency of our brand design and brand voice across in-product marketing.
Leverage data and creative insights to optimize + determine ways to improve strategy, messaging and overall creative solutions.
Craft compelling stories, using key insights to “sell” concepts and make our message as powerful and influential as possible.
Partner with campaign creative teams to bridge in-product and global off-platform initiatives.
Oversee team resourcing and work closely with producer partners to manage project timelines.
Create an inclusive environment where people can do their best work possible.
What we’re looking for:
8+ years of experience as a design leader— with an emphasis in product marketing creative preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Visual Communications, Design, Advertising, or equivalent experience.
A way with words: Someone who works superbly with writing partners, but is also comfortable crafting on-point messaging.
Art meets science: A strong communicator who can think strategically about how to educate and drive interest with a heavy reliance on data.
An inspired leader who sees the bigger picture, but also delights in doing the work. An accomplished manager who can toggle effortlessly to acting as an IC.
Someone who thinks at a systems level, foreseeing how the work both fits within the larger product experience and how it can scale to surround-sound marketing initiatives.
An expert collaborator: A creative with deep experience working with writing partners to develop concepts, through to execution.
A long track record of working quickly and efficiently, and keeping pace in a lightning-fast environment.
A paragon of craft, composition, typography, art direction and color. Attention to design details is legendary.
Experience designing for Product UI, driving product feature adoption + education.
Full proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
